QA and QC Management Plan

The objectives and principles of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in Estehkam are as follows:

Objectives

  • To ensure that Estehkam’s Quality System is implemented to the required standards and in consonance with the Client procedures and quality requirement.
  • To ensure that specification and expected quality are consistently and uniformly achieved in the project by implementing guidelines as set out by the project’s Inspection and test plan, as approved by the Consultant and the Project Manager.
  • To ensure that specifications and code of practices used completely in design of structure, infrastructure and civil works.
  • To ensure QualityAssurance for documentation and document control, in consonance with the Client’s Procedures Handbook and Protocol.
  • Implementation of applicableQuality Control Checklists.

Principles

  • Quality Fitness for purpose: It includes quality of design and/or workmanship, and may include such Factors as economic and perceived values.
  • Quality Assurance: All those planned and systematic actions necessary to provide adequate confidence that goods or services will satisfy given requirements.
  • Quality Control:The operational techniques and activities which achieve and sustain a quality goods or services that will satisfy given requirements and also the use of such techniques and activities.
  • Inspection: The activity of measuring, testing or otherwise examining goods and services for determining conformity with the specified requirements.
  • Verification: The formal process of confirming and documenting compliance with the acceptance criteria.
